There is so much involved in planning a wedding. SO MUCH!
All the important things are checked off but as the time gets nearer, I'm realizing there are a LOT of little details.
The good thing is, I'm finally starting to get excited for the big day. yahoo~!

This entry has not point

The paths of my last 7 years show me I have a problem doing things the "normal" way. Some of it was intentional but most was unintentional. Frustrating...

School: I wanted to go to a conservatory- after nearly practicing my fingers off throughout highschool, I decided last minute to become a teacher. That took me to QC then to NYU. At NYU, I decided teaching was not for me. Three years of NYU took me to NYSID for interior design. UNINTENTIONAL.

Career: After NYSID, I started working as an Interior Designer. After two years, I am going back to (grad) school for furniture design. (so I can have my own line for my clients) INTENTIONAL.

Relationship: Shortly (and unexpectedly) after an end of a long relationship, I found myself in another. That relationship ended (unexpectedly) and started again (expectedly). Got engaged, married (legally), and getting married again(publically). UNINTENTIONAL

I think my problem is that I jump into things too passionately, too quickly. It's hard not to when I feel so strongly about certain things.

Wedding planning is NOT FUN! I don't know why people get so psyched over it. Finding photographers, florists, make up artists, bands, printers... so annoying! Buying the shoes was the best part. Then my dress, bridesmaids dresses, and then his suit. Oh, and picking out the theme falls somewhere in there...

Every weekend, we've been trying to uncover and discover every part of our neighborhood. We needed a break from our exploration and decided to do a couple of things we've never done before in the city.

First, was bike riding. We rented bikes, and went along the Hudson River all the way from West Village to Harlem. There was a park, playground, and picnic area that we never knew existed. It was surprisingly serene and so much fun!! It was even more exciting though, riding on the actual streets. I didn't have enough guts to zig-zag around moving cars, but I did hop on and off the sidewalks into the streets AND biked AGAINST traffic. That's right... I'm a badass.

Next, we shot hoops in the Cage. After 45 minutes of chasing the ball that unfailingly ended up at the other end of the court (where BUTCH serious players were, thankfully, practicing) and fearing our $22 ball getting stolen, I marched off the court ever so proudly. How many 5' Korean girls can say they actually threw a basketball in the Cage? huh? How many? Oh, what was that? None? Well, now you can say one. Moi! I want a trophy for playing horse in the Cage.

Next on the agenda- trapezing. Watch out!
